Love & Trust Law, PLLC (“Love & Trust Law,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and online booking/payment tools, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of our website and to prospective and current clients who interact with us online (collectively, “you”).

This Policy is not a substitute for the confidentiality and privilege protections that apply once an attorney-client relationship is formed. Those are governed separately by the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct and your signed engagement agreement with our practice.

• Information you give us directly — such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any information you provide when you book a Design Session, complete an intake questionnaire, submit a voice intake, or contact us by form, email, or phone.
• Payment information — when you pay for a Design Session or other service, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe or LawPay). We do not store your full credit card number on our own systems; the processor handles that data under its own privacy and security practices.
• Family, financial, and estate planning information — information you share during intake, prep workbooks, voice recordings, or your Design Session about your assets, family members, beneficiaries, guardians, business interests, and related planning details.
• Usage and device information — such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referral source, collected automatically through standard website analytics and cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Schedule, prepare for, and deliver your Design Session or other requested services;
• Process payments and maintain accurate billing and trust-account records;
• Communicate with you about your session, your matter, or our services;
• Conduct conflict-of-interest checks before any engagement begins;
• Improve our website and services; and
• Comply with our legal, ethical, and regulatory obligations as a Florida law practice.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. When We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate our practice, and never for third-party advertising purposes. This includes:

• Service providers we use to run our practice — such as payment processors, scheduling software, practice-management/CRM software, transcription tools for voice intake, and secure file storage — who are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.
• Legal or regulatory requirements — where disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Love & Trust Law or others.
• With your direction — for example, if you ask us to coordinate with your financial advisor, CPA, or another professional.

4. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including working with reputable, PCI-compliant payment processors and secure, access-controlled systems for client files. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain client and prospective-client information for as long as necessary to provide our services, satisfy our professional and ethical recordkeeping obligations under the Florida Bar Rules, and comply with applicable law.

6. Your Choices

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we have about you, to correct inaccurate information, or to request that we stop sending you marketing communications. Certain information may need to be retained regardless of your request in order to comply with our legal and professional obligations.

7. Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies (including for advertising platforms such as Google Ads) to understand site usage and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
